
Ambrosia
Ambrosia is designed to make dining out easier for people with dietary restrictions by identifying suitable options. Our team developed Ambrosia to tackle the public health crisis caused by chronic diet-related diseases, focusing on a personalized 'Food as Medicine' solution. Through 121 customer interviews, we identified a niche market of individuals with dietary restrictions or chronic conditions and refined our MVP through iterations, including meal plans, AI chat support, and community-driven feedback. While we initially aimed to partner with the healthcare system, we pivoted after realizing the misalignment between our goals and the system’s priorities. Despite addressing feasibility and desirability with a focus on restaurant recommendations and a user feedback forum, we struggled with viability due to low willingness to pay, leading us to pause the project.
